Yes, really!
At most places, you're paying for time and not the individualized care your body deserves. Your therapist is either rushed to get through a routine to touch every body part or they just don't even concern themselves with the rest of your body and only focus on 3-4 points. You have to guess how much time you need and pay for every minute of it.
Some therapists will give volume discounts (less laundry?) for more time. I charge $150 and I guarantee 60 minutes, but I more often go over that time significantly to make sure you're taken care of at a rate that your muscles can handle.
I charge $150 per body, not per hour.
Why should I nickel and dime you for time and energy that I want to spend?
EDIT: There have now been 5 clients who have needed 4+ hours of work. New clients will be scheduled for 4 hour blocks to ensure their full body is massaged 😁
